Raoul
Gustave François QUENIOUX (1865-1949)
He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de
Paris under the influence of the schools of Gustave Moreau and Elie
Delaunay. He exhibited at the Salon d"Automne. Trips to Morocco and
Tunisia.
His later work was heavily influenced by
the paintings and woodcut prints of the Japanese. This places him firmly
in the school of Peintres Orientalistes Français .
